”sphere” represents the globe, containing many things—creatures and nature. We respect and listen to their inherent laws in our pursuit of better design. The logo of sphere design incorporates the first letter of ‘sphere’ and the infinity symbol ∞.
We have been donating a portion of our sales to the International NGO Plan Japan and WWF Japan since our founding. Even small contributions can have a significant impact in developing countries, and we would like to encourage donations as a valuable opportunity to ‘Think Globally.’ At the same time, we hope to contribute to Japanese society through our design by ‘Act Locally.’

In 2001, the first year of the 21st century, I graduated from Tsuda University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and obtained a teaching license for junior high and high school (English).
After working in the planning and sales department of an apparel trading company and the marketing department of a major IT company, studied design at Holmesglen Institute in Australia.
May 2006: Founded sphere design in Tokyo.
March 2012: Moved from Tokyo to Kyoto.
April 2013–present: Engaged in education as a lecturer at Kyoto Institute of Design and Kyoto University of the Arts.
March 2024: Completed the Master’s degree in Engineering (Design) at Kyoto Institute of Technology.
September 2024: Established sphere design Inc.

I believe that the creativity born from each individual’s consideration and imagination can lead to personal happiness, the happiness of those around them, and ultimately contribute to a happier and more peaceful world.
The reason I have been able to continue my design work for so long is thanks to the support of many people, including our clients.

With my child-rearing duties reaching a milestone, I decided to establish the company. From now on, I want to dedicate my remaining time and energy to this business, contributing to people's creativity and happiness.
